I then added for the final design batten around the inner edge....

Then beading. I also finished off the catflap pillars and lintel with beading.

At this point, I decided to get on with the upper section. So, I chose some wood to make the main panel.

I cut appropriate lengths of tongue and groove and glued them together.

Then, I chose some thinner tongue and groove, cut four short lengths and glued them together.
